Ivory Haynes, B.S. HSC-Principal

Ivory Haynes is a graduate of Bradley University, B.S. Political Science and Business Administration, with an emphasis in computer science. After years in sales and marketing, I entered the staffing and talent acquisition field. First in manufacturing project management working on several high-level project with national Fortune 500 companies throughout the country. Then transitioned into IT project management as a senior business analyst consultant and corporate strategic communicator with emphasis in SDLC process, project deliverables, business architecture, business processes, and organizational change management (OCM).
My first experience with recruiting, staffing and outsourcing initially started several years ago with Strom Engineering Inc. They had many manufacturing projects throughout the country. I worked on staff initially as a recruiter. Then, eventually promoted to an onsite project manager. I had the privilege to work with hundreds of talented individuals from all parts of the country on these projects.
As the years passed, I was fortunate to get several IT project management contacts with one of the country’s major insurance company. After working there several years as an IT project management consultant on multi-million dollar projects, I learned the importance of talent acquisition and outsourcing.

Treat every potential candidate/employee with respect, especially, in the recruiting process. That particular phase in the process sets the tone for you as a company representative.
Never treat an applicant/potential candidate like a number beyond the data metrics. We find what is important to your candidate that will asset your company.
Show them you really want to match their skill set and experience with the job/career opportunities you have available in your database.
And last, always follow-up methods and keep them in the loop on the interview and hiring process even if the opportunity may or may not be a perfect match for them. This shows them that your company is the company they will want to represent them for great job/career prospects.
